Stories of Vrindavan
Lila Vardhani d.d.
A series of my works is called "The Stories of Vrindavan". It is dedicated to the legends about God Krishna when he lived in Vrindavan.
The works are done in graphic technique on paper. I started working on this topic in 2018 and continue to work to this day. Graphic works will serve as an aid to large format oil paintings. These graphic sheets are the beginning of a large search for the desired images. Among them is the "Meeting" sheet. It depicts a meeting of shepherds and shepherdesses. Also the sheet "Gopi with jugs". The "Hide and Seek" sheet tells about the secret meeting of Krishna and His beloved Radha. They hide in the foliage from prying eyes. The "Conversation" sheets depict Krishna climbing a tree to eavesdrop on Radha's conversation with Lalita. I have presented two versions of this picture. "The shepherds attack the Gopis." Sheet "Dance Rasa" As well as Sheets "Clouds" Two sheets connected into one. It depicts Krishna and Radha with reindeer following each other against a background of clouds.
