Believers of Nowadays

Raminta Blazeviciute

Believers of Nowadays …

Or, perhaps, more precisely, to write, non-believers? In her paintings, the representative of modern art, Lithuanian artist Raminta Blazhevichyute asks the main questions of the existence. And the most important of them is: how deep is our faith?

We all live a intensive modern life, full of incredible opportunities, the latest technologies, temptations, endless changes, ups and downs, spiritual inflation, crises. And so it happens that, filled with all this diversity, we no longer understand: what can we believe in? Especially when the choice is so great: Jesus, St. Mary, Buddha, Krishna, Allah… Or should we glorify what we can get here and now – the Power of this world, Fame and Money?

We are indeed between two dawns – not yet completely fallen or not yet fully enlightened. ("Between Two Dawns»)

Perhaps we feel lost, so it is the safest thing for us to act as an observer who records time and events through the eyes of the blind. ("Observer")

And here it is-our life as a whole. ("A Simple Day", "Game of Life"). Our days pass intuitively, in search of something real, something that we have long forgotten. ("Exploration")

But even then, invisible threads connect us to the Truth that is beyond our material perception. ("Threads")

This Truth always inspires us to dream and search further, no matter how lost we may be! ("Looking Into Landscapes of Night-Time")
