My name is Arthur, I come from a small town called Kirov. I have been drawing since childhood, but the taste for creativity came much later – at the age of 16. When we look at the paintings of the creator, we first of all come into contact with the author himself, with his mood and inner message. An artist is, first of all, a person, so the purpose of my work changes along with my life experience and spiritual growth. Everything in the world is a manifestation of the Absolute, the Personality of Godhead, and my goal at the moment is to try to convey His beauty to the viewer.
There are many authors who have influenced me and my work. Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Klimt, Alphonse Mucha are invariable classics that also attracted me as a person. At the age of 16, I first saw how a little-known Italian artist Agnes Cecil creates a portrait. It was she who became the catalyst that launched me, she instilled in me a taste for painting. Then there were many others: Pokras Lampas, Naran ja lidad, Ana Santos and many others. All of them are my teachers, without them I would not have become what I see myself now.
Art is, first of all, what the author wants to convey and each has its own goal. Someone’s art raises consciousness and makes life better, and someone else’s – leads to degradation and inclines to lowlands. What we broadcast to this world is very important. Therefore, the artist, as a particle and servant of art, needs to help all living beings to become better. As for me, the purpose of art is precisely to help all of humanity to see the divine beauty.
At the age of 13, I entered an art school, which I could not stand then. But ironically, then I went to art college, which completely changed my thinking and my life in general – there I became an artist and felt joy from it.
At the age of 17, I began to post my work on the VK space, where I was noticed by various publics with a fairly large audience from 5-600k. We started to spread it, and gradually I began to flicker on the Internet. Long 12 years have passed since then. During this time, there have been crises in creativity, and declines in interest. On this path, I lost my goal and regained it. Now I again understand where to move and what I want to convey to people.
My creative process consists in the fact that at first I think about what I want to convey, and then I proceed to sketches, searches, collection of references. And then to complete rendering. This process can be fast, or it can be delayed for a long time, because it all depends on the complexity of the work.
