Good afternoon! Nice to meet you! I am inspired by different directions in art: both classic and modern. But I especially love folk dances. In general, I think that folk art is very lively and filling. So, the most striking example for me is the activity of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after Igor Moiseev (GAANT). The works of the Czech choreographer Jiri Kilian are also very inspiring: the plasticity of the body, the beauty of the lines… You can look at his works endlessly!

Art in my understanding is something that inspires, gives food for thought, touches the soul. Art is beauty! By the word “beauty” I mean purity of thought, striving for sincerity, for high ideals. And art is the ability to see the beautiful in the world around us, and it is not necessary that these are «butterfly flowers». For me, it is important that the problem raised in the work leads to an understanding of how I can solve it in my specific life situation.
My professional career began at the age of 6 with rhythmic gymnastics. Then there was training in a choreographic college. Then I attended a dance school and danced in the children’s exemplary dance ensemble «Veselushka». Finally, I entered the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, where I received a diploma with the following qualifications: teacher, folk ensemble artist, choreographer. As part of the ensemble of the department, under the leadership of Svetlana V. Gutkovskaya, I participated in many creative projects. At some point, I was completely captured by contemporary dance. Now a new passion for psychology is connected with dance.

The creative process of creating a choreographic composition usually begins with an idea. Then I select the musical material and start composing the dance itself. Most often, I allocate time for this, although it happens that ideas come unexpectedly: during a trip to the subway, for example. 🙂 When creating a dance for inspiration, I can look at pictures that are suitable for the topic. I read and watch: sometimes the dance pattern can be seen in advertising or even on the pattern of a person’s clothing. As a rule, a certain picture is formed inside, which I embody with the help of movements.
